Council Information
The Saint Dominic Council is located at 150 Erie Street near the South Orangetown Middle School. The Grand Knight for 2003-2004 is Patrick Nolan. You can contact the Knights by phone at 845-359-4644, or by email at Information@KofCStDominic5343.org.

Council Meetings
Meetings are held on the First and Third Wednesday of the month at 8 P.M. in the Council Hall at 150 Erie Street, Blauvelt, NY 10913. All brothers are asked and encouraged to attend the business meeting on Wednesday, June 16th in our Council Chambers. We will elect the Council Officers for the Columbian year 2005.

With great sadness...
We note the passing of our long time brother, Antonio Orlando, on March 22, 2004. We extend our condolences to his widow, Helen, on her loss.

Congratulations to our new brothers
On Wednesday, May 19th we held an Exemplification of the First Degree in honor of our deceased brother, Dick McCloskey. We welcome into our order and Council, David Breslin, Louis Klass, Thomas Foxe, Donald Butterworth, Stephen Murphy and Steven Wayne. We look forward to their involvement in the Knights of Columbus.

About Our Council
It is named after St. Dominic, the founder of the Dominican Order, and defender of the Church against heresey. The St. Dominic Council works closely with the the Saint Catharine of Alexandria Parish in Blauvelt, provides funds for various community projects and charities. Our members actively participate in their parishes, in various capacities such as Parish Catechists, Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, the Parish Councils, and many other capacities. Our brothers actively serve in many civic and community activities. Membership in the St Dominic Council is open to all Catholic gentlemen, 18 years and older, who meet the criteria determined by the Supreme Council of the Knights of Columbus.
